Curated archive record from NASA's 2023 historical software and automation incident catalog. NASA records navigation-software errors that prevented the DART mission from achieving its objectives. The catalog cautions that an incident's behavior may not mean software itself was the sole root cause. This is a public-source summary, not an independent eyewitness report.
